Dr. Joel Fuhrman M.D. our favorite Nutritionist
This is a good time to introduce you to my favorite physician, Dr. Joel Fuhrman M.D.
I have been a fan of Dr. Fuhrman’s since watching him skate in the early 70s.He is a former world class figure skater and member of the United States World Figure Skating Team.
In 1973, he scored a second place finish in the United States National Pairs Championships and in 1976 he placed third in the World Professional Pairs Skating Championship in Jaca, Spain.
While it is true that I am impressed with the good doctor’s sports achievements, I find his deep knowledge of nutrition and how it affects the human body even more impressive.
It is indeed hard to find an M.D. who focuses on nutritional remedies for his ailing patients instead of pushing pharmaceuticals at them to relieve their symptoms. Dr. Fuhrman personifies the ultimate medical nutritionist.
People are becoming more aware of the importance of diet and nutrition in maintaining a healthy body even as the pharmaceutical companies are increasing their efforts to push their drugs using advanced advertising techniques and psychological triggers that influence their unsuspecting targets to buy.
